What is IUanyWare?
IUanyWare is a client virtualization (CV) service available to Indiana University students, faculty, and staff. With IUanyWare, you can use a web browser or mobile app to run certain IU-licensed software applications without having to install them on your computer or mobile device.IUanyWare is available at https://iuanyware.iu.edu. IUanyWare uses a
secure connection; to avoid misleading warning messages, be sure to
use the https:// prefix.
Your computer needs to be running Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later, or Mac OS X 10.6 or later. As part of the initial set up, you need to install the Citrix Receiver (the virtualization client). You can also configure cloud storage so you can store files remotely, for example, on your IU Box or SharePoint My Site account. For instructions, see:
- How do I set up and use IUanyWare?
- How do I set up and run IUanyWare applications on my mobile device?
- What is IU Cloud Storage and how can I use it?
Note: Do not store files in IUanyWare; you can instead use the Cloud Storage service.
For a list of software available through IUanyWare, see the IUanyWare Current Software List. For more, see Where can I review or request software on IUanyWare?
For help with IUanyWare, contact your campus Support Center, or search the IU Knowledge Base.
