At IUB and IUPUI, where can I buy used computers and other equipment?

Indiana University Bloomington

  • Surplus Stores administers the resale of IUB computing equipment, along with other types of surplus merchandise.

    Note: There is no return policy for any merchandise, including computers, purchased at Surplus Stores. If you buy a computer there, you are buying it as is, with no warranties, guarantees, or returns.

  • To find private individuals selling computer equipment, try the classified ads located on the Campus tab in OneStart. Use your IU Network ID to log in.

  • The Indiana Daily Student (IDS) and Herald-Times also offer online classified ads.

IUPUI

  • IUPUI Surplus Property administers the resale of all computing items and other types of surplus merchandise.

  • To find private individuals selling computer equipment, try the classified ads located on the Campus tab in OneStart. Use your IU Network ID to log in.

  • The Indianapolis Star also offers online classified ads.
