What is Mozilla Thunderbird and where can I get it?

Thunderbird is a graphical email client and newsreader developed by the Mozilla Foundation. The application, available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux, includes support for both IMAP and POP email.

Note: UITS no longer supports POP mail. For details, see At IU, why doesn't UITS support POP mail?

You can download Thunderbird at no cost from Mozilla's Thunderbird site. IU students, faculty, and staff can download Thunderbird from IUware.
