Request a training session on an IT topic at IU

At Indiana University, instructors, student groups, and staff groups can bring in UITS IT Training instructors to deliver in-person training sessions on IT topics.

  • Instructors can request training sessions for their students, to be scheduled during regular class times. Student groups can request training sessions during regular meeting times, or set up a new time.
  • Scheduling depends on IT Training instructor availability and expertise. IT Training also works with many partners and experts to meet requests.
  • You should give a minimum of three weeks' notice; be sure your group consists of 10 or more learners.
  • IT Training can work with you to customize content and delivery according to the needs of your group.
  • IT Training instructors can provide in-person training sessions for your group or department at their primary computer lab sites at Wells Library (IU Bloomington) or at ICTC (IU Indianapolis). IT Training can also help you consider other locations as needed.

To request a session with IT Training, complete the request form at Request a Session.
