ARCHIVED: Using HyperTerminal, how can I see text that is cut off at the end of the line?

Sometimes text lines can be too long for the HyperTerminal window. When this happens, you can wrap the text to the next line by following the directions below:

  1. If HyperTerminal is not open, start it.
  2. From the HyperTerminal menu, select Properties.

    Note: In some versions, Properties is in the File menu.

  3. Select the Settings tab.
  4. Click the ASCII setup button.
  5. Check the box next to Wrap lines that exceed terminal width.
  6. To accept the change, click OK twice.
