Overview

Media Collections Online provides online access to audio and video recordings from Indiana University collections and select scholarly projects.

Anyone may view publicly accessible items in Media Collections Online, but the majority of content is restricted to authorized users based on course enrollment or departmental membership. This includes sound recordings previously served through the Variations system.

Media Collections Online is supported by the Library Technologies division of the IU Bloomington Libraries, with additional technology support from UITS. This service is based on the open source Avalon Media System software developed by Library Technologies’ Digital Media Software Development group.
