About the Experiential and Applied Learning Record

The Experiential and Applied Learning Record (EALR) is an application for approved administrators to authorize the addition of co-curricular achievements (also known as experiences) taking place outside of the classroom to a student's official academic record. Experiences can be in seven achievement types: creative expression, diversity, global engagement, internships/career development, leadership, research, and service. An administrator adds an experience to a student's record using an electronic request form called an Experiential and Applied Learning Achievement Student Experience Request, which is then routed electronically for approval.

For instructions for using EALR, see SIS Training's Experiential and Applied Learning Job Aids.
