About Verify.IU

From time to time, when you use the Central Authentication Service (CAS) to log into sites or services at Indiana University, the Verify.IU system will interrupt your login to prompt you to take a specific action. For example, IU needs to periodically verify contact information for all students, faculty, and staff.

Usage policy

Because the interrupt process can be disruptive, when a unit requests a new interrupt, UITS requires approval from both the Associate Vice President of the requesting unit and the Associate Vice President of Enterprise Systems in UITS. UITS believes this policy will provide effective oversight for using interrupts.
