In Outlook Web App (OWA), you can forward single email messages in both the Premium and Light interfaces. In the Premium interface, you can also forward multiple email messages.

Forwarding a single message in OWA Premium and OWA Light

  1. Open the email message you wish to forward. On the toolbar at the top of the window, click Forward. A message composition window will open.
  2. In the "To:" field, enter the email address you want to forward to, and then modify the body of the message as you wish.
  3. Click Send on the toolbar at the top of the window.

Forwarding multiple messages in OWA Premium

Note: In OWA Premium, only a basic method for forwarding multiple messages is available. If you regularly need to forward large numbers of email messages from your Exchange account, consider using the desktop client, Microsoft Outlook; see ARCHIVED: What is Microsoft Outlook?

  1. In OWA Premium, select the email messages you want to forward using either of the following methods:
    • Selecting a range of messages: Click the first message in the range you wish to select, and then hold down Shift while clicking the last message in the range.
    • Selecting multiple non-continuous messages: While holding down the Ctrl key, click each message you want to select.

  2. After selecting your messages, either right-click and choose Forward as an attachment, or click the forward icon (blue arrow) in the reading pane.
  3. In each message composition window, in the "To:" field, enter the email address you wish to forward to, and then modify the body of the message as you wish.
  4. Click Send in the toolbar of each message composition window.
