What is the oXygen XML Editor, and at IU, how do I download it?

The oXygen XML Editor, from Syncro Soft SRL, is a cross-platform application for document development using XML and related structured markup languages (e.g., XSD, Relax NG, XSL, and DTD).

Indiana University students, faculty, and staff can download oXygen for Windows or Mac OS X from IUware and install it on personally owned or university-owned computers. If you install it on a personally owned computer, you need to remove the software and any license keys when you leave IU.

To download the oXygen XML Editor, visit IUware, and on the left side of the page, click Development Tools. From the list that appears, select oXygen XML Editor.

Note:
The version of oXygen available on IUware comes with a license key that is valid only until the end of IU's current oXygen site license period. UITS will update the license key on IUware upon renewal of the annual site license agreement.
