If you still can't access the IU network after unblocking your computer at unblock.iu.edu

If you perform an unblock via unblock.iu.edu , it will take effect within 15 minutes. If your computer is still blocked after that time, you may not have removed all blocks placed on your account. For example, you may have removed the MAC address block, but neglected to remove the block placed on the IP address for the remainder of the DHCP lease.

When you need to use unblock.iu.edu , UITS recommends that you search for network blocks by username so that you will see all of the blocks you need to remove. If you have problems finding the blocks, try searching for the blocks by your IP address.
