Contribute to the XSEDE Knowledge Base

To contribute to the XSEDE Knowledge Base, send new documents or updates to existing ones via email to This opens a ticket at Indiana University, the institution responsible for Knowledge Base upkeep (not in the XSEDE ticket system). The Knowledge Base team will follow-up as soon as possible during business hours (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Eastern). You can send content as text in email or as an attachment.

Alternatively, you can flag a ticket in the XSEDE ticket system as a good candidate for a Knowledge Base document. The Knowledge Base team regularly searches for flagged tickets. To flag a ticket for the Knowledge Base, in the Miscellaneous Attributes section of the ticket, directly below the "Result Summary" field, check the box next to "Knowledge Base Material". You may want to search the Knowledge Base first before flagging your ticket, in case there is already an entry for the issue.
