Description: The TeraGrid science gateway hosting project provides hosting services for the TeraGrid Grid Infrastructure Group and researchers running science gateways. Both of these groups are attempting to make high-performance computing more accessible. The project is currently implemented with two nodes (one in the Bloomington data center and one in the IUPUI data center) providing OpenVZ-based virtual machines to customers.
Milestones and status:
- This service provided more than 40 virtual machines to various projects.
- The available storage for gateways was doubled to 20TB.
