ARCHIVED: Is there a way to simulate the Windows environment on an XSEDE digital service?

Most Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) digital services run Unix or Linux operating systems. The local schedulers on these resources also run on Unix or Linux. No XSEDE digital service has the middleware needed to emulate Windows.
