This content has been archived, and is no longer maintained by Indiana University. Information here may no longer be accurate, and links may no longer be available or reliable.

To reset your password for accounts on Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) digital services hosted by Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC), use the PSC Password Change Utility.

Your password must be at least eight characters long, and contain characters from at least three of the following groups:

  • Lowercase letters
  • Uppercase letters
  • Digits
  • Special characters, excluding apostrophes (') and quotes (")

Also, your new password must be different from the last three PSC passwords you have used.

PSC policy requires all users to change their passwords at least once a year. You must change your initial password within 30 days of receiving your account on a PSC digital service. PSC will send you an email notification when your PSC password is about to expire. For more, read PSC password policy.

Note:
Resetting your PSC password will not affect your XSEDE User Portal password.

If you need help or have questions, contact the XSEDE Help Desk. For other support options, see ARCHIVED: Get help with XSEDE.
