How can I determine which XSEDE storage system fits my project's needs?

To determine which storage system fits the needs of your project on the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE):

  • Consult the XSEDE Storage page for descriptions of available archival, allocatable, and resource file system storage services.
  • See the user guides for each system for file transfer methods, quotas, and backup and purge policies.
  • Click Storage Systems on the Systems Monitor to check the availability of XSEDE storage systems.

For information specific to data transfer methods on XSEDE, see Data Transfers & Management.
