Important:
Oncourse is retired. For details, see ARCHIVED: About the Oncourse retirement.

The CourseNetworking CN (Beta) tool in Oncourse links site participants to a corresponding course site in CourseNetworking, the academic social networking service also known as the CN.

From within the CN, you can send messages to individuals or groups. Email messages will go to the email address each recipient uses for his or her CN account. For most participants at Indiana University, this is the person's IU email address.

Note: The CN's email function is separate from the Messages and Email Archive tools within Oncourse.

  1. In the area above the CN, course, or Conexus home page, click Email.
  2. In the "To" field, enter any combination of CN Numbers, names, or email addresses.
  3. Enter the subject and content of the message.
  4. If desired, attach files, images, videos, or links (up to 200 MB).
  5. Click SEND.
