Outdoor paved loop walks

Paved loop walk #1 (3,780 feet/.71 mile)

Paved loop walk #5 (1 mile)

To follow this route, exit the CIB front doors, and walk east between the Innovation Center and the gym. Walk up the hill on the east side of the gym, towards the Data Center. Circle around the parking lot, the CIB, and the IC, and go up the hill east of the gym again. Turn left, and pass the north side of the gym to return to the CIB.

About walks on the cross-country course

All of the cross-country course walks (described in the following sections) begin at the opening through the tree line near the southwest corner of the course shown in the picture below. This section of the course is easily accessed across from the parking lot just north of the Data Center. See the route under CIB to cross-country course, out and back for the distance from the CIB to the start of the cross-country loops.

Cross-country south loop (3,000 feet/.57 mile)

Beginning at the tree line at the southwest corner of the course, head east on the southernmost section. Continue to follow the course as it turns back to the west until you complete the loop of the first two sections, and then return to the starting point.

Cross-country north loop (3,850 feet/.73 mile)

Beginning at the tree line at the southwest corner of the course, head north along the western section, continuing down the hill until just before the metal gates. Turn east and follow that section until it turns along Range Road. Continue following that section as it turns west until you are near the tree line at the west edge of the field. At that point, continue over to the west section and follow that path back to your starting point.

Cross-country combined north and south loops (6,850 feet/1.29 miles)

Begin at the tree line at the southwest corner of the course. Since you will be walking this entire section of the course you can start to the left going downhill, or start to the right and have the incline near the end of this walk.

Cross-country north/south out and back

Starting at point #1 in the southwest corner of the course, walk north 1,000 feet to the metal gates at point #2. Cross the gates and continue past the cross-country finish line at point #3 to the tree line at point #4. The distance from point #2 to Point #4 is 2,300 feet. At point #4, turn around and follow the same route back to the starting point. Total distance for the round trip is 6,600 feet or 1.25 miles.
