Fix audio issues in a UITS IT Training online event
Note:
The following instructions are part of the Assist Me series for UITS IT Training online workshops and
webinars. The series is intended to answer questions you might have
during an online event.
When you join a UITS IT Training online workshop or webinar, you should hear music playing (if you join a few minutes before the event begins), or you should hear a presenter speaking. If you are not able to hear any sound from the online classroom, first make sure that your speakers are connected properly and turned on, with the volume set to an audible level.
To troubleshoot audio issues on your computer, try the following:
- Windows:
- Use the Windows Volume Mixer to check that your device and browser volume are set so that you can hear them.
