Use IUCAT to find Indiana University dissertations and theses

Overview

All cataloged Indiana University dissertations and theses are listed in IUCAT.

Basic search

Either search for an exact title, or enter keywords in the search box. When using keywords, refine your search results by selecting the Collection facet in the left column of the IUCAT results list, followed by the Indiana University Dissertations/Theses limiter. Your results list will now include only IU theses and dissertations.

To narrow results even further, use other facet limiters to the left of your search results.

Advanced search

Either search for an exact title, or enter keywords in the appropriate search box, and then apply the Indiana University Dissertations/Theses limiter under the Collections facet. Your results list will now include only IU theses and dissertations.

Note:
Online dissertations and theses belong to a campus and not a particular library, so limiting your search to a particular library will exclude online items from your results. To include electronic theses and dissertations in your results, use the Campus facet, but avoid the Library facet.
