About the Campus Networks Speedtest

The Campus Networks Speedtest is a service to measure network connectivity from any device to the IU Data Center in Bloomington, IN. It allows individuals to quickly establish a baseline of network performance to assist with troubleshooting efforts. The browser-based tool supports test speeds up to 10 Gb from anywhere in the world.

Results are reflective of a variety of factors including individual device capabilities, internet service provider performance, and home network capabilities. For a complete explanation of metrics shown in the test results, see Ookla's Internet Speed Glossary.
