Before you begin
Note:
The following instructions are for use with the Windows, macOS, and Chrome OS versions of Google Chrome. Android and iOS mobile versions of Chrome do not support Read&Write for Google Chrome.
During the setup you will need to use Google Chrome to install the Read&Write for Google Chrome extension and Screenshot Reader extension as well as any other optional extensions or apps.
The optional extension that is part of the Read&Write for Google Chrome product is OrbitNote (formerly OrbitDoc).
Install the Read&Write for Google Chrome extension
- Launch Google Chrome.
- Follow the instructions to install Read&Write for Google Chrome extension from the TextHelp website.
Install the Screenshot Reader extension
- Launch Google Chrome.
- Follow the instructions to install the Screenshot Reader extension from the TextHelp website.
Install OrbitNote
OrbitNote (formerly OrbitDoc) is an optional extension for use with Read&Write for Google Chrome.
Note:
When asked to sign in, use the "Sign in with Microsoft" options using your IU username and passphrase.
