About the CIC to Dialpad migration

Beginning in April 2024, Campus Communications Infrastructure (CCI) has started to transition from CIC/PureConnect to a new contact center platform called Dialpad. Dialpad is a Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solution, also known as a cloud-hosted contact center.

The goal is to move all contact centers at IU to Dialpad by the end of July 2024. A CCI representative will contact each contact-center manager to determine the date of your team's move. As CIC/PureConnect is no longer supported by the manufacturer, once all departments have moved to Dialpad, CIC/PureConnect will be retired.

Once you have been informed by CCI that your Dialpad account has been created, go to the Dialpad website and choose Log in with Microsoft. You will not still need to use Microsoft Teams to receive contact center calls; Dialpad calls can be answered in any supported browser.

During the migration, Dialpad training will be provided by CCI. For more information on Dialpad, go to the Dialpad Help Center.
