Because PPP support has been built into the Macintosh operating system since Mac OS 7.6, the choice of clients is straightforward. If you are using Mac OS X, use the Internet Connect application. For Mac OS 8.5 through 9.x, use Apple Remote Access, accessible from the Remote Access control panel. For Mac OS 7.6 through 8.1, use OT/PPP, accessible from the PPP control panel.
