ARCHIVED: In Oncourse, what features in Assignments are missing from Assignments 2?

Note: The Assignments 2 tool has been renamed Assignments.

Development work continues on Assignments 2; the following features found in the original Assignments tool are not yet available in Assignments 2:

Direct links to assignments from the Calendar and Announcements: Assignment due dates in calendar and announcement items do not include a link back to the assignment. Instead, instructions on how to access the assignment are provided in the description field of the calendar or announcement item.
Submission notification options: Submission notifications for instructors and AI/TAs are only available in a daily digest format; it is not possible to receive individual notifications for each submission.
Grade Report: This report is not available, but most of the data in the report is provided through the Gradebook.
Private note and all-purpose item fields: The original Assignments tool includes optional fields for the instructor to record private notes about the assignment or add miscellaneous information. These fields are not available in Assignments 2.
Ability to download submissions for one section only: In a combined course site, instructors can view each section's submissions separately, but the Download All feature downloads all submissions from all sections.
