ARCHIVED: How do I apply for funds in My Involvement?

Note:
IUPUI is currently the only campus that has implemented the funding request tool in My Involvement. For all other campuses, contact your campus student activities office to learn how to apply for any available student activities grants.

Apply for individual funding

  1. Log into My Involvement.
  2. Under the Home tab, locate the "Individual Funding Requests" section at the bottom.
  3. Use the drop-down menu to select the type of grant for which you would like to apply.
  4. Click Make New Request, and complete all of the necessary fields. Those with a red asterisk (*) are required.
  5. Click Submit.

Your request will be reviewed by the appropriate funding committee.

Apply for organization funding

Note:
You must be a designated organization officer in My Involvement to complete these instructions. Before proceeding, see ARCHIVED: How do I check and revise my membership status in My Involvement?
  1. Log into My Involvement.
  2. From the Organizations tab, click the organization for which you want to request funds, and the organization profile will open.
  3. In the "Events" section, click Event Funding Request.
  4. Use the drop-down menu to select the type of grant for which you wish to apply.
  5. Complete all necessary fields. Fields with a red asterisk (*) are required.
  6. Click Submit.

Your request will be reviewed by the appropriate funding committee.

Add follow-up comments to your funding application

After submitting your funding application, you may receive email from the funding review committee. Do not reply directly; rather, log into My Involvement and add your comment to your existing funding application.

  • For individual funding requests:
    1. Under the Home tab, locate the "Individual Funding Requests" section.
    2. Click View History.
    3. On the request to which you want to comment, click View.
    4. Type your comment in the "Application Comments" box at the bottom of the page, and click add.
  • For organization funding requests:
    1. From the "Events" section of the organization profile, click the Event Funding Request.
    2. On the request to which you wish to add a comment, click View.
    3. Type your comment in the "Application Comments" box at the bottom of the page, and click add.
