Requirements

To log into Oncourse, you need a Network ID and an IUPUI NT Domain account.

To make sure you have an IUPUI NT Domain account, go to the UITS-IUPUI Support Center Web page at:

  http://www.iupui.edu/~support/

Select Email information, then select Check Existing Network Services. If you need to enable access to the IUPUI NT Domain, go back in your browser and select Add privileges to an existing UITS-IUPUI Network ID.

If you are not sure of your your username or password, please see Knowledge Base document ARCHIVED: At IU, if I forget my passphrase on a UITS shared central system, what should I do? for more information.

What if I still cannot log into Oncourse?

  • Make sure you are entering your username and password correctly. They are case sensitive.
  • If you're new to IUPUI, it's possible that your student or faculty data hasn't been entered into Oncourse yet. It can take up to three days after registering for a class (or after creating a new NT Domain account) before that information is transferred to Oncourse.
  • Another possibility is that your NT Domain account password is out of synch with your passwords on other systems (such as the Jewel systems). In that case, you can use WebPass to reset and synchronize your passwords. Once you synchronize your passwords, there may be a delay of an hour or two before you can log into Oncourse.
