ARCHIVED: In Microsoft Outlook, how can I make replies to a message I send go to an address other than mine?

In Outlook, you can designate a specific Reply
to
address for one message at a time. Then, replies to that
particular message will automatically go to the address you've
specified. This new Reply to
address overrides your
default Reply to
address.
The default Reply to
address for Cyrus
(Webmail) and Exchange accounts at Indiana
University Bloomington is username@campus.edu
,
where username
is your Network ID username, and
campus
is the domain for your campus (e.g.,
indiana
for IU Bloomington or iupui
for
IUPUI).
To set a new Reply to
address for a message in
Outlook:
- Compose your message.
- Open
Message Options
:- Outlook 2013 or 2010: Click the tab, and then click .
- Outlook 2007: On the tab, to the right of "Options", click .
- In the "Delivery options" section, check . Your own name is the default; you may delete it. Enter a valid email address. Alternatively, to make your selection from the Address Book, click , select the desired name, and then click . You can select as many names as you wish.
- To return to the message body, click (Outlook 2013 or 2010), or click , and then (Outlook 2007).
Note:
Any mail sent to
username@exchange.campus.edu
from a system outside IU will be rejected, generating a bounce message to the sending system. Be sure your mail is sent to username@iu.edu
.
