At IUB, what is a CampusAccess Card?

Note:
Current campus cards, including CampusAccess, Jagtag, UCard, and others, are being replaced by CrimsonCard, the new official photo ID card for all IU campuses. For details, see About CrimsonCard.

At Indiana University Bloomington, your CampusAccess Card (commonly referred to as your student ID or staff ID) is the official university photo identification card issued to students, employees, and affiliates.

Your legal name is printed on your ID card, unless you've designated a preferred name.

Rules about your card's photograph draw upon federal Department of State criteria, and do not allow head coverings other than for religious purposes. If your card is replaced, you may be required to have a new photo taken if the photo on file does not closely resemble you at that time.

Note:
For students, the CampusAccess Card works as a bus pass for Bloomington Transit. (Faculty and staff can request a free bus pass from Campus Card Services when obtaining a staff ID card.)

For more, including how to get a card or replace a lost one, other uses for your CampusAccess card, and details about associated financial accounts, see CampusAccess.
