At IUB, what is the Learning Commons?

The Learning Commons (LC) is a state-of-the-art technology and information center operated jointly by the Indiana University Libraries and University Information Technology Services (UITS). Located on the first floor of the West Tower of the Herman B Wells Library, the LC provides an environment conducive to active learning and collaborative work.

The LC is a 24-hour Student Technology Center that provides 18 collaboration rooms, 100 computer desktops, wireless networking, ample access to power outlets, and over 800 seats, all near a service hub where students can get help with technology, research, and writing.
