What is Amos, and where can I access it at IU?

Amos is a special-purpose statistical software package that fits structural equation models. It requires a fairly high level of statistical sophistication.

At Indiana University, Amos is available on Windows computers in the Student Technology Centers (STCs) at IU Bloomington and IUPUI.

To get help using Amos for IU coursework, your best option is to ask your instructor. Alternatively, see the IBM SPSS Amos User's Guide (PDF).

If you have questions about using statistical and mathematical software at Indiana University, contact Research Analytics. Research Analytics is located on the IU Bloomington campus at Woodburn Hall 200; staff are available for consultation Monday-Friday 9am-noon and by appointment.
