Overview

Following is information about support hours for the period when in-person teaching has been suspended at Indiana University Bloomington, IUPUI, and regional campuses. For regular hours, see Contact your campus IT Support Center.

UITS Contact Center

The Contact Centers at Indiana University provide general campus information via phone and email. Information and services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These centers also maintain the campus directories.

  • IUB: The IUB Campus Operator is available at 812-855-4848 (812-855-IUIU; 5-4848 from on campus).
  • IUPUI: The IUPUI Campus Operator is available at 317-274-5555 (4-5555 from on campus).

Bloomington

    Note:
    During closings, phone calls will route to the UITS Contact Center for an answering service.
  • Walk-in support (Learning Commons at Herman B Wells Library): Closed until further notice, but posted signs will have instructions for receiving other methods of support. For up-to-date information about Wells Library hours and closures, see Library COVID-19 Updates.

Indianapolis

  • Phone, email, and chat support (317-274-4357, ithelp@iu.edu, http://ithelplive.iu.edu): Available 24/7
    Note:

CrimsonCard offices

Important:
  • IUB and IUPUI students, faculty, and staff: Normal CrimsonCard production has been suspended. Existing CrimsonCards will continue to function normally. Employees and students who never received a card or who need a replacement card to perform essential functions can make an appointment to get a temporary, no-photo CrimsonCard; call 317-274-0400 or email crimsoncard@iu.edu for assistance.

Technology Center Consulting (TCC)

Bloomington

  • Learning Commons, Herman B Wells Library: TCC has ceased face-to-face consultation at the Wells Library. If you need TCC assistance, call 812-855-3802. For up-to-date information about Wells Library hours and closures, see Library COVID-19 Updates.
  • Student Technology Centers (STCs): IMU 089 is open; all other labs are locked. To see the hours when specific labs are staffed and open, see Staffing in the IUB and IUPUI STCs (be sure to select the appropriate date at the top).

Indianapolis

  • TCC at IUPUI is not currently conducting any face-to-face consultation. For TCC assistance, call 317-274-0779.
  • STCs: At IUPUI, the only labs open for use are in the Campus Center, specifically CE099B, CE199A, CE299A, CE399A, and CD499B. Each lab has six computers, and all but CD499B have a Ricoh multifunction printer. The workstations in the basement and on the fourth floor have the full STC software build.
