Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional is a program that can recover data from the following media, using Windows file systems:

  • IDE, ATA, EIDE, SATA, and SCSI hard drives
  • Jaz and Zip removable media
  • Floppy diskettes
  • Digital media (e.g., CompactFlash, SmartMedia, flash memory, Memory Stick)

Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional can generally recover data that's been lost due to deletion, drive formats, and Master File Table failures, among other forms of data corruption. If the data is on a RAID array or has been repeatedly overwritten (such as with Disk Sanitizer), or the drive is failing at the hardware level, the chances of recovery are greatly reduced.

To schedule assistance in recovering data from any of the media listed above, contact Indiana University LSP Services via email at itps@iu.edu.
