When you log in, your course, project, and portfolio sites are displayed as tabs across the top of the screen. To enter a site, click its tab. If you belong to more sites than can be displayed as tabs, those sites will be accessible from the More Sites drop-down list.

You can choose to hide sites (e.g., course sites from previous semesters), or reorder them (i.e., choose which sites to display in tabs), using the Preferences tool in My Workspace.

Note: If you hide the tab for a site, you can still access the site from Worksite Setup in My Workspace.

1. From your My Workspace menubar, click Preferences.
2. Click Customize Tabs.
3. On the "Customize Tabs" page, sites that are displayed as tabs are listed in the "Favorite Sites" column on the left. In the middle, the "Active Sites" column lists the sites that appear when you click the More Sites tab. On the right, the "Archived Sites" column lists the sites that do not appear in your More Sites tab.
4. You can move and reorder sites using either of the following methods:
   • Using the mouse: Drag and drop sites until they appear in the desired order. To move multiple sites at once, check the boxes next to the desired sites, and then click the appropriate arrow icon.
   • Using the keyboard: Select the site that you would like to move by using the direction keys (arrow keys or i, j, k, and m). Then move the selected site by holding the Ctrl key and pressing the appropriate direction key.

   Note: Your My Workspace tab will always appear to the left of your other sites.

5. When you're finished, click Update Preferences to save your changes.
