In the Windows Hosting Environment, how do I report a problem?

The Windows Hosting Environment is used by departments on all Indiana University campuses to host a variety of web applications and other information systems needs.

To report a problem, contact webhost@iu.edu, and provide the following:

  • The name of the application, mentioning also that it is part of the Windows Hosting Environment
  • The name, email address, and phone number of anyone else to contact other than yourself
  • A description of the problem, including details such as:
    • The complete URL to the problem page
    • The UNC path to the share containing the file with the problem
    • The server and database name (if the problem is a database connection)
    • A description of the irregular behaviors
