ARCHIVED: As an IU student, how can I request a temporary extension for my disabled computing accounts?

As a student, you may make special arrangements to temporarily extend your computing privileges as an IU Affiliate. There is no charge for Affiliate status, but it is granted only when the accounts are necessary to complete or continue work with IU.

To keep your account open, you must have an IU faculty or appointed staff sponsor fill out an Affiliate form, as required by UITS Accounts Administration. You are responsible for contacting sponsors who can request an account extension for you.

Faculty or staff sponsors can request account extensions for all IU campuses at:
