ARCHIVED: Using Oncourse Forums, how can I link directly to a particular message?

A web address you copy from your browser's address bar when working in your site may not always take you back to the particular content you were viewing; in some cases, it will only take you back to that tool. In Forums, you can generate a persistent link to a particular message:

  1. In your site's menubar, click Forums.
  2. Click the title of the topic, and then the title of the conversation, if applicable. Finally, click the title of the particular message you want to link to.
  3. Click Copy link. A URL will appear below; you can copy this and paste it into another application (e.g., an email message).
