About AVL NEXT Labs at IUB and IUPUI
Operated by the Advanced Visualization Lab (AVL), the NEXT Labs at Indiana University Bloomington and IUPUI are core visualization facilities that explore New and Emerging eXperimental Technologies for the entire IU community.
The IUB NEXT Lab is located in room 105 of the Innovation Center in Tech Park East at Tenth and the Bypass. The IUPUI NEXT Lab is located in room 403 of the Informatics and Communications Technology Complex (ICTC) at the corner of West Street and Michigan Street.
Both NEXT Labs are also Reality Labs, where Reality Stations let users experience immersive virtual reality.
Both NEXT Labs feature IQ-Wall ConCAVE systems, advanced IQ-Walls that are reconfigurable, and can show stereoscopic content for immersive VR and advanced media uses.
