At IU, what is the Student Outreach program?

The Student Outreach program at Indiana University is intended to help faculty and students become more comfortable with many of the new and most popular UITS technology services (e.g., Two-Step Login (Duo), Canvas, IUanyWare, AskIU, One.IU, Box) and commonly used applications (e.g., Excel, Photoshop, Dreamweaver).

IT Training handles the following activities:

Technology Center Consulting (TCC) handles the following activities:

  • Participation in student-focused events (e.g., orientation, welcome week activities)
  • Tabling events for students at the times and locations where they are more likely to need help (e.g., libraries, study areas)
  • Tabling events with academic departments and student organizations for special events
