At IU, what is the Student Outreach program?

The Student Outreach program at Indiana University is intended to help faculty and students become more comfortable with many of the new and most popular UITS technology services (e.g., Two-Step Login (Duo), Canvas, IUanyWare, AskIU, One.IU, Box) and commonly used applications (e.g., Excel, Photoshop, Dreamweaver).

You can take advantage of the Student Outreach program in either of the following ways:

  • Submit a request to schedule a UITS IT Training instructor-led (online or in-person) presentation for your class, department, or group. Scheduling and delivery methods are flexible to meet your needs. For more information, contact UITS IT Training.
  • Partner with UITS Technology Center Consulting (TCC) to coordinate:
    • Student-focused events (e.g., orientation, welcome week activities)
    • Tabling events for students when and where they are likely to need help (e.g., libraries, study areas)
    • Tabling events with academic departments and/or student organizations for special events
    • To get started, contact Technology Center Consulting.
