Description:

The Windows Hosting Environment (WHE), formerly Consolidated Hosting Environment (CHE), is a Windows-based web hosting environment that serves a wide variety of web applications and other information system needs for departments on all Indiana University campuses.

Cost: Baseline service; resource needs exceeding standard configuration may result in a fee.

Data classification approval: Appropriate for Critical and Restricted institutional data; the review for use of electronic protected health information (ePHI) is in progress. Each use of Critical or Restricted data will have to be reviewed by the appropriate Data Stewards.

WHE is also PCI DSS v3.0 SAQ A aligned.
