ARCHIVED: Organization of your migrated files in the Canvas Files tool

When you migrate content from Oncourse to Canvas, your files and folders (including files stored in other sites that are referenced as attachments and/or links or embedded objects in the WYSIWYG editor) are copied to the Files tool in Canvas. A separate folder is created for each Oncourse tool that contains or refers to files stored in Oncourse Resources. Depending on which tools you chose to migrate, you may see one or more of the following folders in the Canvas Files tool:

Folder name	Folder contents
`assignments`	Files associated with content migrated from the Oncourse Assignments tool
`forums`	Files associated with content migrated from the Oncourse Forums tool
`lessons`	Files associated with content migrated from the Oncourse Lessons tool
`Modules`	Files associated with content migrated from the Oncourse Modules tool
`quizzes`	Files associated with content migrated from the Oncourse Tests & Surveys tool
`resources`	Files and folders stored in the Resources tool of the migrated site
