Share your screen in Microsoft Teams

Windows

To share content from a Windows computer, select the up arrow near the top of your screen. You will have the option to present your entire screen, a window, a PowerPoint file, or a whiteboard.

For more, see Share content in a meeting in Teams.

macOS

If you use Microsoft Teams on a Mac computer (macOS Catalina version 10.15 or higher), you may need to adjust your computer's security and privacy settings to allow camera, microphone, and screen sharing access:

  1. On your Mac, click the Apple logo at the top left corner of your screen, and then choose System Preferences.
  2. In the System Preferences menu, click Security & Privacy, and then choose the Privacy tab.
  3. In the lower left of the "Security & Privacy" window, click the padlock icon to make changes. Enter your Mac's administrator username and password (this is different than your IU username and password).
  4. In the left column, click the Camera section. In the right column, click the checkbox next to "Microsoft Teams".
  5. Repeat this step for the Microphone and Screen Recording sections.
  6. Close the Security & Privacy window.
  7. You may need to quit and re-open Microsoft Teams to enable these changes.

If you are using an older version of macOS, see the instructions under "Share content on a Mac" in Share content in a meeting in Teams .
