About IU Self Service

Most university-owned, faculty and staff Apple devices at IU are managed via Jamf Pro. These devices include an application called IU Self Service, which allows you to install a variety of free or IU-licensed applications. In most cases, installing applications from IU Self Service is a simple button click.

For macOS systems managed in the Common Build, we maintain a default catalog of apps in IU Self Service, listed below. For Macs not yet in the Common Build this same catalog is also available. Some departments use a combination of our default catalog plus additional applications specific to their department. Other departments manage the catalog of apps entirely. Currently, there is not a default catalog of apps for IU Self Service on iOS devices. Your department's local UITS support person can answer questions about available apps in IU Self Service.

For assistance installing applications from IU Self Service, contact your department's local UITS support person. If you need an application installed that is not listed in IU Self Service, the local UITS support person will assist with the installation or can request that the application be made available in IU Self Service.
