Overview

Delphinium is a student engagement and gamification platform that integrates with Canvas to increase student motivation in courses. Delphinium provides tools to:

• Gamify your gradebook (counting up and giving students choices for which assignments to complete)
• Give course-specific badges
• Celebrate achievements
• Visualize progress with customizable dashboards
• Personalize communication with students based on data
• Provide a leaderboard

Delphinium can be "tuned" to promote competition or collaboration. Instructors can pick and choose exactly which tools they enable to increase motivation a little or a lot.

Sign up for the pilot

To join the pilot, go to Next.IU and select Join a Next.IU pilot. Fill in your information, and select Delphinium from the "Sign up for a pilot" drop-down menu. Choose Submit, and the Next team will be in contact with you.
