About EITS loaner laptops

EITS keeps on hand a limited number of Windows and macOS laptops for use as loaner systems.

These loaners are intended for use by full-time Executive or UITS staff awaiting new equipment or repairs of existing equipment. They are also offered for temporary use as a presentation system.

EITS generally loans laptops for up to two weeks as a guideline. If you will require a loaner for a longer period of time, alternative options (such as re-using a surplus-bound system) may be suggested instead.

The standard EITS build is installed on EITS loaner laptops. Additional programs can be installed on request. An administrator account may be configured on request.

Important:

EITS loaner laptops will have their data wiped immediately on return to EITS. Before returning a loaner laptop, be sure to back up all data you wish to keep to another storage location.
