ARCHIVED: Set or reset a conference PIN for a Polycom CX600 phone

At Indiana University, to set or reset a personal identification number (PIN) for configuring and resetting your Polycom ARCHIVED: CX600, ARCHIVED: VVX500, ARCHIVED: CCX400, ARCHIVED: CCX500, or ARCHIVED: CCX600 series IP phone:

  1. In a web browser, go to Dial-in Conferencing Settings and PIN Management.

    Alternatively, in your UniCom client (Skype for Business), click the down arrow to the right of the Options (gear) icon, select Tools, and then select Dial-in Conferencing Settings.

  2. Under "Personal Identification Number (PIN), click Sign In; then, on the page that opens, enter your login credentials in the provided fields as follows:
    • Username: Enter ads\username (replace username with your IU username).
    • Password: Enter your IU passphrase.
  3. Click Sign In.
    Note:
    If you see an error message saying your phone extension is not configured, disregard it; IU does not use phone extensions. To proceed, click Reset your PIN.
  4. Under "Set Your Pin", read the instructions for creating a new PIN, and then, in the New PIN and Confirm PIN fields, enter your new six-digit PIN.
  5. Click OK.
