Free wireless internet service for IU campus visitors

Visitors on all Indiana University campuses can use the free IU Guest wireless service to connect to the internet.

The IU Guest wireless service is intended for use by campus visitors only; IU students, faculty, staff, and affiliates should use IU Secure for on-campus wireless internet connections. IU Secure encrypts traffic between your device and the wireless access point; IU Guest does not. UITS cannot ensure the security of IU Guest connections.

To connect your device to the free wireless internet service for IU campus visitors:

  1. In your device settings, make sure wireless networking (or Wi-Fi) is turned on.
  2. In the list of available networks, select IU Guest.
  3. Check the box to indicate you accept the terms of the Acceptable Use Agreement.

If you need help, contact the Support Center. For help at the Indiana Memorial Union (IMU) at IU Bloomington, contact the hotel front desk at 812-856-6381.
