Change your login shell or passphrase on IU research supercomputers

The default login shell on Indiana University's research supercomputers is bash. To change your shell, send a request to the High Performance Systems (HPS) team indicating the shell you'd prefer to use.

You use your IU passphrase to log into IU's research supercomputers:

• If you know your passphrase and want to change it, follow the instructions in Change your IU passphrase.
• If you forgot your passphrase and need to reset it, see Reset your IU passphrase.
