Filter and search Action Items in AdRx

Authorized Action Items users can search the system for any Action Item associated with a student, and for Action Items where they are an owner or an added participant.

Use the provided filters (under "Filter By") to find Action Items based on the following parameters:

  • Status: Find Action Items based on status; select Open, Closed, or Any.
  • Due date: Find Action Items based on due date; choose:
    • Today: Find items due today.
    • Past: Find overdue items.
    • Future: Find items with a future due date.
    • No due date: Find items with no due date.
    • Any: Display items with any due date.
  • Caseload: Return only items associated with a student in your Assigned Advisees or ad hoc caseload groups.
  • Student: Display only Action Items associated with a specific student. Enter the student's IU username or University ID, and then click Add.
  • My Role: Find Action Items based on your role; select Owner, Participant, Follower, or None.
  • My Status: Find Action Items by status; select To do, In progress, Completed, or Decline.
  • Show Only: Display only Action Items where you have added a comment.
Note:
If you search with only the "My Status filter, or if you select only None under "My Role", you will see student-associated Action Items from all IU campuses. To avoid returning an overly large number of search results, use these options in combination with other parameters, such as "Student".

After setting your filter(s), click Apply to display the filtered results.

To return to the default Action Item list, next to "Action Items", click Open.
