Immediate assistance

Faculty or staff requiring immediate assistance should contact the SharePoint site owner or their local UITS support people. Faculty or staff may also contact their campus Support Centers if their local UITS support people are unavailable.

General support inquiries

Although UITS can answer questions about many general features of SharePoint, more advanced features require a deep level of familiarity not only with SharePoint, but also with the environment in which it is applied. UITS staff may not be able to readily answer questions related to development and design. For such questions, UITS may be able to leverage Microsoft Support. In all cases, though, you should send SharePoint questions to the UITS Support Center, who will escalate to Microsoft as needed.

Notes:
  • To fulfill requests, answer questions, or troubleshoot problems, UITS staff may need to access your SharePoint Online site. If you submit a request, question, or problem report to UITS, you are granting permission to access your SharePoint Online site to the extent necessary to fulfill the need.
  • In addition to this Knowledge Base and the training resources listed below for specific topics, you may find Microsoft Support and Microsoft Learn helpful.
